Personal background checks doubled in BC this year

On December 10/09 the Province Newspaper reported that personal background checks have doubled in BC this year.

More and more occupations require personal background checks that include criminal record checks.  This means that having a criminal record makes it harder to get more and more jobs.

If you've been charged with a crime, don't simply plead guilty no matter how good you think the sentencing deal from the prosecutor is.  Find out if you have a defence.  The best outcome is a "not guilty" verdict or the charges being dropped.
