A: Getting bail depends on a number of factors.  They are as follows:

1.    How likely you won’t make court appearances if released.
2.    How likely it is you may commit another crime if released.
3.    How strong the prosecutor’s case is against you.
4.    The seriousness of the alleged crime(s).
5.    The circumstances of the alleged crime – including whether a firearm was used.
6.    How long your potential jail sentence is.
